Spring Has Sprung!

I think I started these a month ago.  Maybe three weeks.  Same diff, right?

Don’t they look fabulous?

Perhaps I should’ve checked before I went to Home Depot.  I was concerned that my tomato seeds weren’t sprouting or if they had they weren’t progressing to my satisfaction.  One cannot have a garden without tomatoes, it’s sacrelige!  So after I trotted myself over to get some replacement tomato plants (four supersweet 100’s and one mortgage lifter), I decided to check on my little babies to see what was up.

Turns out, a lot!  Five of my six Redcurrant tomatoes have sprouted, as well as a big pineapple (a yellow w/red streaks), and a supersteak!  I think I’m going to need more cages…

I also have some other boring stuff growing, two kinds of cukes, summer squash, zucchini, peppers, a watermelon and (hopefully) a pumpkin, but the pumpkin is still hiding so who knows.  Oh, and Delicata squash.

I think once I put it all in my little front bed, certain vining plants will take over my walkway but I’m ok with that.  I’ll just put some pavers on my new clover grass lawn that Honey seeded last fall and you can walk around all of it!
